About Us

New York Best Finish Contracting Corporation was founded in 2001 by 2 brothers. They co-owned and worked together until 2005 when Santiago Figueira took over the corporation. Santiago started in the construction business working for his uncle as a carpenter’s helper at the age of 17. It Didn’t take long for him love the industry and he knew that one day would want to open his own company.

Working with different companies he learned different trades of the business and progressed rapidly as a master carpenter. Between the years 1990 and 2001 he worked as a painter, tile man and a carpenter and furthered his construction knowledge in many aspects of the trade.

Initially, NYBF was dedicated to high end paint and custom tile jobs mostly arising from subcontract work from other companies. The company soon earned a great reputation for exceptional customer service and beautiful detailed work.

Today some of our clients include architects, interior designers, engineers, restaurants, contracting corporations, insurance companies, management companies and home owners. New York Best Finish is now a general contractor specializing in decorative painting and high end custom tile services to the New York area to both residential and commercial projects.
